Quick Answer: What Is Dock & Dine Dubai?
Dock & Dine Dubai is an official initiative by the Dubai Maritime Authority and Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, launched in 2025 to support short-stay yacht visits to waterfront dining and leisure destinations.
The program covers 20 participating marinas and marine stations and provides free moorage under the Dock & Dine arrangement. It also supports advance restaurant arrangements, rapid booking responses, and passenger drop-off and pick-up by tender where required.
This guide explains how Dock & Dine works, which locations participate, where you can dine, how to arrange a visit, and what to confirm before arriving.

How Does Dock & Dine Dubai Work?
The basic process is:
Arrive by yacht → dock at a participating location → disembark or transfer ashore → visit the restaurant or destination → return to the yacht.
The exact access method varies by location. Guests may walk ashore from a marina or jetty or use a designated tender where required.
Dock & Dine is designed for short-stay visits and is not a general term for dining aboard a yacht.
Is Docking Free in Dubai's Dock & Dine Program?
One of the main benefits of the official Dock & Dine initiative is free moorage at participating marinas and marine stations, subject to the program and location's operating arrangements.
This is different from saying that all yacht berthing in Dubai is free.
Free moorage applies to participating Dock & Dine locations under the program; it should not be interpreted as free general-purpose marina berthing.
Normal marina fees may still apply when using a berth outside the Dock & Dine arrangement or for purposes unrelated to the short-stay program.
How Long Can You Stay at a Dock & Dine Location?
The official five-minute-to-one-hour figure refers to the booking response/reservation window, not a universal maximum yacht stay.
Actual stay times can vary by participating marina, marine station, restaurant and operating arrangements. Before arriving, confirm the permitted stay, berth or anchorage arrangements, and any passenger drop-off or pick-up requirements with the relevant operator.
For Dock & Dine visits, it is best to treat the program as a short-stay dining arrangement rather than assume a standard stay limit applies at every location.

Dubai Dock & Dine Restaurants and Yacht Access
Dubai Dock & Dine connects participating marinas and marine stations with waterfront restaurants, hotels and leisure destinations across Dubai. The official Visit Dubai Dock & Dine material identifies 17 waterside dining venues, including 13 restaurants offering safe moorage. Yacht access is not the same at every destination: some venues are served directly from a marina or jetty, while others require anchorage and tender transfer.
Featured Dubai Dock & Dine Restaurants
The following are examples of waterfront dining destinations that can be accessed through Dubai's Dock & Dine network. Access arrangements and reservation requirements vary by location.
Restaurant / Destination | Area | Access Method | Reservation Requirement |
C Central Hotel & Resort The Palm Dubai | Palm Jumeirah | Nearby marina access | Restaurant booking and arrival arrangements required |
COVEBEACH Dubai | Bluewaters Island | Nearby Dubai Harbour access | Booking required; confirm drop-off arrangements |
DRIFT Beach Club | Jumeirah | Nearby marina access | Booking required; confirm arrival arrangements |
Dukes The Palm | Palm Jumeirah | Palm Jumeirah marina access | |
Bâoli Dubai | J1 Beach | J1 Beach Anchorage + tender | Valid restaurant reservation required |
Gigi Rigolatto | |||
African Queen | |||
Gitano |
The wider Dock & Dine program covers additional waterfront dining venues. Restaurant participation, mooring arrangements and passenger transfer procedures can change, so confirm the current access procedure directly with the restaurant and relevant marina or marine operator before arrival.
How Yacht Access Works
A restaurant's waterfront location does not necessarily mean that a yacht can berth directly outside the venue. Depending on the destination, guests may arrive through a participating marina, use a nearby jetty, or anchor offshore and transfer ashore by tender.
When making a reservation, confirm the designated yacht arrival point, whether drop-off and pick-up are available, and whether a separate marina or tender arrangement is required.
J1 Beach Dock & Dine
J1 Beach Dock & Dine uses a different yacht-access arrangement from a conventional marina berth. D-Marin's J1 Beach arrangement allows yacht guests to anchor at the J1 Beach Anchorage and transfer to the J1 Beach jetty by tender. A valid restaurant reservation is required for the arrangement.
D-Marin lists several J1 Beach venues, including Bâoli Dubai, Gigi Rigolatto, African Queen, Gitano, INA and Sirene Beach by GAIA. Because anchorage, tender operations and restaurant access can change, confirm the current procedure when making the reservation.

How to Book Dock & Dine Dubai
Booking a Dock & Dine visit involves coordinating two parts of the trip: the restaurant reservation and the yacht's short-stay access. The exact procedure can vary by marina or destination, so confirm the arrangements before departure.
If you do not have your own yacht, you can also arrange a Dubai private yacht rental for your Dock & Dine visit.
Step 1 — Choose the Restaurant and Location
Start with the restaurant or waterfront destination you want to visit. Then identify the participating marina, marine station, jetty or anchorage used to access it. The closest marina geographically is not necessarily the correct yacht-access point.
Step 2 — Confirm the Participating Marina
Contact the relevant marina or marine station before arrival and confirm that your planned visit can be accommodated under the Dock & Dine arrangement. Provide your expected arrival time and yacht details if requested.
Step 3 — Reserve the Restaurant
Make the restaurant reservation separately and confirm the date and time with the venue. A marina docking arrangement does not automatically mean that a restaurant table has been reserved.
Step 4 — Confirm Yacht Arrival and Docking
Confirm where the yacht should arrive and whether guests will disembark directly from the marina, use a designated jetty or transfer ashore by tender. Follow the marina's instructions for the approach and short-stay arrangement.
Step 5 — Confirm Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Before leaving the yacht, make sure everyone knows the passenger drop-off point and the location and timing for the return journey. Where a tender is used, confirm where and when it will collect guests after the meal.
Step 6 — Arrive and Follow Marina Instructions
Arrive at the agreed time and follow the current instructions provided by the marina or destination. Operational procedures can vary by location, so do not rely solely on information from a previous visit.
